1. Selection of variety
At present, variety that is suitble for local cultivating is SC2196 in China, the strain is original. People should buy strains in production units that is designed by the State. Good strains should be pure white, penniform, with good climbing ability, free from pollution, non-aging.
2. Material preparation
For every 100 square meters, it need 2000 kg of straw, 1500 to 150 kg of dung (horse, cow, sheep), 15 kg of urea, 20 kg of soybean cake or oil residue, 50 kg of calcium superphosphate, 50 kg of gypsum powder, 20 kg of light calcium carbonate and 15 to 30 kg of lime.
3. Pre-temperature and build heap
Before building heap, prewet the straw for 3 to 5 days to make it fully absorb the moisture, and then build heap. The width is 1.3 to 2.3 meters, the height is 1.6 to 1.8 meters. The time shoule be settled in accordance with the temperature, generally it needs 25 to 30 days.
4. Turning and fermentation
The first turning should be after 6 days, pour enough water and then evenly put gypsum powder and lime carbonate. After turning, there will be lots of spilled water around the heap. In the second turning, people should humidify the heap according to the situation. in the third turning, people should be done after 5 to 6 days from the second turning, in the last turning, people should spray 100g dichlorvos each 500 kilograms and move into mushroom house after 2 to 4 days.
5. Sterilization of mushroom house
Buttom mushroom has no need for sunshine. People should also keep mushroom house clean and free from sundries.
6. Seeding method
After seeding, people should keep the temperature of mushroom house in between 22 and 28 degree, 60% to 70% of relative air humidity. It is forbidden to ventilate the house in 2 days.
