Hebei: scientific management methods help to develop edible mushroom park of Pingquan Dashihu Forest

It is said that Pingquan County state-owned Dashihu Forest Farm Edible Mushroom Park implemented following five measures to reduce the contamination rates of mushroom bag, improve mushroom quality and increase the farmers’ income:
Firstly, established the park management organization which is led by director consists of production section, technical section, logistics department, security section and finance section. Each section mutually moderate and perform their respective duties.
Secondly, made and carry out the strict systems which including safety production, workers‘management system, sales settlement and financial management and so on.
Thirdly, made the production and technical management plans for next year according to the surveys and summaries of edible mushroom cultivation in last year, improving the technology to produce more high-quality mushroom.
Fourthly, plant some flowers such as Orychophragmus violaceus and sweet willow, some green seedlings such as Hemerocallis fulva, Phlox drummondii, Ulmuspumilacvjinye and Chinese flowering crabapple to purify the park environment.
Fifthly, hired local workers which solve 40-60 surplus laborers around the county and move the 2 parks construction over 50 mu to improve local economic development.
Through these scientific management methods, the output and quality of edible mushroom in the park both improve very much, which successfully attract lots of businesses come here.
