Guizhou: Imitative wild Phallus impudicus was successfully cultivated for the first time

At present, a good news from Baili Dujuan Linrui Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialized Co-op was that they cultivated successfully imitative wild Phallus impudicus for the first time in Bijie City. This cultivation was also the first time in China.
Now the Co-op has cultivated 150 mus Phallus impudicus, annual output of dried products can reach nearly 10 tons if count the retail investors’ products annual output in. Phallus impudicus, a kind of rare edible mushroom, has much high nutrition value and a small amount of distribution in Hubei province. It needs very strict climate conditions and the temperature must be 2 degrees to 10 degrees when it’s fruiting.
That immediately attracted the attention of many distributors when wild Phallus impudicus was cultivated successfully. There are lots of mushroom enterprises from Beijing and Shanghai, even foreign trade companies race to purchase. Phallus impudicus becomes the gourmet dishes in high-end restaurant in the first-tier cities and a new beloved mushroom for agricultural product export. The Co-op will continue to expand the cultivation scale and strengthen research to cultivate more special products.
