According to mushroom quotation provided by Jiangsu Lingjiatang Agricultural & Sideline Products Wholesale Market, on August 11, Oyster mushroom, Enoki mushroom, Pleurotus geesteranus, Button mushroom, White beech mushroom and Brown Shimeji mushroom are 6 varieties that show price rise.

1.Price of Oyster mushroom has risen from 10 to 12 CNY per kg, indicating 20% of increase range.

2.Price of Enoki mushroom has risen from 6.25 to 6.75 CNY per kg, indicating 8% of increase range.

3.Price of Pleurotus geesteranus has risen from 12 to 13 CNY per kg, indicating 8% of increase range.

4.Price of Button mushroom has risen from 12 to 14 CNY per kg, indicating 16% of increase range.

5.Price of White beech mushroom has risen from 9.37 to 10 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of increase range.

6.Price of Brown Shimeji mushroom has risen from 10.6 to 11.25 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of increase range.

On the contrary, on August 11, Seafood mushroom is the sole variety that shows price fall, from 8 CNY to 6 CNY, indicating 25% of decline range.

“Price of Shiitake mushroom, Superior Shiitake mushroom and King oyster mushroom is respectively at 18 CNY, 20 CNY and 6 CNY per kg in our market. Recently, price of the majority of mushroom is on the rise, especially for Oyster mushroom, and it is resulted from hot weather, meaning tense market supply,” introduces manager of Jiangsu Lingjiatang Agricultural & Sideline Products Wholesale Market.
