Ingredients:
A turnip
10 dried Shiitake mushrooms
A handful of leek (Chinese chives)
Condiments: Oil and salt
Cooking directions:
1. Peel the turnip, cut into dices, then remove into a steamer, turn on the heat and let sit for 10 minutes or so till soft.
2. Soak dried Shiitake mushrooms ahead of time, rinse off before coarsely dicing up, then set aside for use.
3. Trim the leek, rinse and then cut into segments.
4. Heat the wok, drizzle with oil, then drop in diced Shiitake mushroom and stir-fry for above 2 minutes. And, combine with turnip dices, maintain the heat for another 3 minutes.
5. Finally let leek segment join in, season with a dash of salt and stir well. Serve and enjoy.
