Shanghai Xijiao Transaction Center: Analysis of Mushroom Price

According to mushroom quotation provided by Shanghai Xijiao International Agricultural Products Transaction Center, on May 16, Shiitake mushroom, Superior Shiitake mushroom, Straw mushroom, King oyster mushroom, Drumstick mushroom, Button mushroom, Enoki mushroom, Brown Shimeji mushroom, Seafood mushroom and White beech mushroom are 10 varieties that show price fall.

1.Price of Shiitake mushroom has dropped from 16 to 15 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of decline range.

2.Price of Superior Shiitake mushroom has dropped from 18 to 17 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of decline range.

3.Price of Straw mushroom has dropped from 22 to 20 CNY per kg, indicating 9% of decline range.

4.Price of King oyster mushroom has dropped from 8 to 7.5 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of decline range.

5.Price of Drumstick mushroom has dropped from 20 to 12 CNY per kg, indicating 40% of decline range.

6.Price of Button mushroom has dropped from 12 to 9 CNY per kg, indicating 25% of decline range.

7.Price of Enoki mushroom has dropped from 6.5 to 5.5 CNY per kg, indicating 15% of decline range.

8.Price of Brown Shimeji mushroom has dropped from 11.4 to 10.8 CNY per kg, indicating 5% of decline range.

9.Price of Seafood mushroom has dropped from 7.5 to 7 CNY per kg, indicating 7% of decline range.

10.Price of White beech mushroom has dropped from 13.3 to 12.5 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of decline range.

On the contrary, by May 16, Oyster mushroom, Pleurotus nebrodensis, Agrocybe cylindracea and Yellow Enoki mushroom are 4 varieties that show price rise.

1. Price of Oyster mushroom has risen from 7 to 8 CNY per kg, indicating 14% of increase range.

2. Price of Pleurotus nebrodensis has risen from 16 to 17 CNY per kg, indicating 6% of increase range.

3. Price of Agrocybe cylindracea has risen from 7.5 to 9 CNY per kg, indicating 20% of increase range.

4. Price of Yellow Enoki mushroom has risen from 8 to 9 CNY per kg, indicating 13% of increase range.

“Price of Pholiota nameko, Cordyceps militaris, Black fungus, Stropharia rugosoannulata and Pleurotus geesteranus is respectively at 10 CNY, 17 CNY, 8 CNY, 20 CNY and 9 CNY per kg. Recently, mushroom sales is not good in our market, price of mushroom is in overall decline trend,” said manager of Shanghai Xijiao International Agricultural Products Transaction Center Market warmly.
