Peak mushroom transaction time arrives at Qingyuan Shiitake Market

Recently, in Zhejiang Qingyuan Shiitake Mushroom Market Transaction Zone located in Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province of China, workers are expertly busy with mushroom sorting.

Since this winter, dried Shiitake mushrooms cultivated all over China have been gathering in the zone.

“In January of 2015, Zhejiang Qingyuan Shiitake Mushroom Market Transaction Zone was opened and put into trial operation, the same year, gross sales on Shiitake mushroom reached over 20,000 tons and sales volume came to 2.015 billion CNY. In 2017, sales volume zoomed to 2.578 billion CNY. And, from January to September of 2018, transaction volume hit 1.857 billion CNY within the zone,” introduces manager of the zone warmly, adding that nowadays, Zhejiang Qingyuan Shiitake Mushroom Market Transaction Zone becomes the second-to-none mushroom buying center in China or even the world.
