In mushroom shed managed by Zhejiang Baijun Family Farm, fresh-picked White fungi are in drying process.
“Up to now, over 1000 kg of fresh White fungi have been harvested in the first batch, the projected gross output hits 1500 kg and the wholesale price is 80 CNY per kg,” said principal of Baijun Family Farm, going on that White fungus is strict to its environmental temperature and humidity, suitable range of temperature and humidity is respectively at 26 degrees Celsius and 85%-99%.
In 2017, gross cultivation capacity on White fungus totaled 150,000 bags, gross output came to above 10,000 kg and gross sales hit 500,000 CNY in Baijun Family Farm.
In addition to meticulous mushroom cultivation, stable operation of Baijun Family Farm still requires the continuous investment and innovation of technical equipment. Now, the farm owns 2 invention patents and 3 utility patents, of which inoculation machine of White fungus developed by the farm directly cuts down half of labor force, simplifies the process and boosts the benefits. Next step, Baijun Family Farm intends to introduce technical equipment so as to make full use of waste mushroom sticks (nutrient bags) and comprehensive build up itself into the modernized White fungus base.
