Farming of Black fungus and Reishi mushroom Shines

In recent years, based on advantaged resource superiority, Huangsongdian Town, Jiaohe City, Jilin Province of China constantly tamps the foundation of mushroom industry, speeds up the transformation and upgrading of mushroom industry.

Huangsongdian Town is abundant in forest resources, which provides an exceptional condition for the development of local mushroom industry. Within the town, Black fungus industry owns over 80 years of history, Black fungi cultivated in the town are thick and exquisite in texture, tender in taste, and they are packed with rich micro elements. Through constant strain improvement, technical innovation, six characteristics that refer to Small-size, Black, Thick, Hard, Crisp and Pure have been formed.

Besides, Huangsongdian Town is also famous for Reishi mushroom growing, and large-scale artificial Reishi mushroom cultivation was formally started in 1995.

According to statistics, in 2016, gross cultivation capacity on Black fungus reached 900 million bags in Jiaohe City, gross output on dried Black fungus reached 45,000 tons and output value hit 3.15 billion CNY. 

In 2018, gross area on Reishi mushroom cultivation totals 300 mu, by the end of the year, the estimated gross output on dried Reishi mushroom and spore powder respectively attains 300 tons and 150 tons, gross output value is projected to rise to above 50 million CNY.
