Recently, in mushroom base managed by Hubei Yichang Changlin Ecological Agricultural Technology Co., LTD, new variety of Grifola frondosa mushrooms introduced from Institute of Microbiology, Academy of Agricultural Science of Hubei Province are evolving into the maturation.
Grifola frondosa is also known as Maitake mushroom, and it is a kind of edible and medicinal mushroom that carries tender texture, crisp and tasty flavor. In China, Grifola frondosa mushrooms naturally grow around the roots of chestnut tree and they are hardly seen.
In 2016, Academy of Agricultural Science of Hubei Province launched into cultivation technology of Grifola frondosa, after two years of endeavour, by now, the variety has shown its brilliance, which fills the blank of Grifola frondosa cultivation in Hubei Province while exploiting a new path for rural revitalization, industrial poverty alleviation and for farmers to generate handsome incomes.
