241, STAR Shiitake mushroom variety, is in first batch of picking

Recently, in Shiitake mushroom base located in Yangjiazhuang Village, Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province of China, growers are engaged with picking of the first batch of “241” Shiitake mushroom.
As the characteristic mushroom variety of Qingyuan County, “241” Variety holds round appearance, dense fragrance, thin and full texture, good taste and it gains popularity by consumers who get to know it.

“241 is dense in texture and resistant to storage, and it is ideal for soups and stews,” introduces principal of the base warmly.

Shiitake mushrooms are an edible specialty mushroom which was originated in East Asia, they are like Portobello in that they have a meaty flavor and texture and are best cooked. The stems are edible but best trimmed before cooking.
