On October 16, Mr. Cao Ziying, principal of Shandong Kangmin Professional Mushroom Cooperative, is showing his creation of Reishi mushroom that seems like a peacock.
Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma), known for its medicinal properties and antioxidants, holds a half-circle shape, carries an orange hue color and can be chopped up and used in teas. And it has anti-anxiety and relaxing properties to control energy levels and also supports digestion.
“I used to be a security staff and auxiliary police in Guangdong Province of China and witnessed local rapid development of economy, which inspires me to go back to my hometown and start a business,” introduces Mr. Cao warmly. “In 1998, i embarked on Reishi mushroom industry, by now, i have established two cooperatives, one association and Shandong Sanxiu Biotechnology Co., LTD in Dianzi Town, Guan County, Shandong Province of China.”
In 2017, Mr. Cao registered the brand of “San Xiu Cheng Xiang,” and as of this time of 2018, over 20,000 orders have been reached on just ONE direct marketing platform, products involve Reishi Mushroom Powder, Reishi Mushroom Slices, Reishi Mushroom Alcohol and Reishi Mushroom Bonsai.
In Dianzi Town, total area for Reishi mushroom cultivation reaches over 6000 mu, above 13,000 Reishi mushroom sheds annually output nearly 8000 tons of Reishi mushroom products, and 450 tons of Wall-broken Reishi mushroom Powder, accounting for 60% of China’s gross output of Reishi mushroom.
