Jilin Province of China: Quality-improvement and upgrading road of the home of Black fungus

Over the years, relying on characteristic resources and regional advantages, mushroom industry which highlights Black fungus farming has been leading rapid development trend via base construction, industrial expansion and brand creation in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province of China. In 2017, gross cultivation scale obtained 870 million bags in Jiaohe City, annual output on dried Black fungi came to 32,000 tons while output value obtained over 2.3 billion CNY. In addition, within the city, there are above 20,000 households totaling 46,000 people engaging in Black fungus cultivation, 106 standardized gardens which hold over 300,000 bags of annual cultivation capacity have been built while 51 specialized villages that carry at least 2 million bags of annual cultivation scale have been formed.
In the future, Jiaohe City plans to construct a transaction center of characteristic product and upgrade it into comprehensive wholesale markets on basis of wholesale mushroom market, meanwhile, it intends to accelerate the construction of a modernized mushroom garden which is undertaken by Jilin Touzi Group and holds 400 million CNY of investment so as to boost great circulation situation of commodity.
