13 million bags of Shiitake generate over 100 million CNY

Now, in greenhouse of Zhangji Town, Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province of China, growers are busy themselves with Shiitake picking.
“Winter is the golden period of Shiitake picking, the key management is to widen diurnal temperature variation and stimulate the sprouting,”said Mr. Cheng, chairman of Zhongxiang Xingli Food Co., LTD.
As the key export-oriented enterprise, Zhongxiang Xingli Food Co., LTD mainly engages in cultivation and deep processing of Shiitake, annual production scale obtains 12,000 tons. At present, there are 38 households totaling 112 poor population in Zhulingang Village, Zhangji Town. In 2017, gross output scale on Shiitake obtained 13 million bags in the town, which brought about over 30 million CNY of profits .
As the helping enterprise of the village, Xingli Company provides a dragon service in connection with technical guidance, Shiitake bags, marketing channels and others for free, helps generate average incomes of over 15,000 CNY per household.
