Recently, technical staffs working in Beijing Agricultural Technology Promotion Station successively interviewed and investigated on local Morel bases and found that 70% of them are entering to fruiting period, the rests are still in spawn-running stage by reason of late storage period of mushroom bags and poor management and control of solar greenhouse.
“In order to stimulate the fruiting, cultivators could control the surface temperature of greenhouse at 5-11 degrees Celsius, after going through 55 days of cultivation period, it is proper to fully spray water, and in case of surface temperature which is hard to be controlled at 5 degrees Celsius, be sure to spray water before spring begins,” introduces related technical staff from the station passionately, adding that to the greenhouses which are receiving the fruiting period of Morels, it is suggested to remain stable fruiting environment after mushroom fruiting, meanwhile, be sure to avoid direct water-spraying, direct sunlight, high temperature and strong ventilation.
