Do a great job on water-spraying and topdressing of fungus bed: In winter, cultivators could determine the times of water-spraying in accordance with the dry-and-wet degrees of soil particles on fungus bed, in general, moist status is ideal. What’s more, be sure not to spray water too often or over dose, or mycelia which are budding under cold temperature would suffer freeze injury. And when topdressing, cultivators could combine with water-spraying and it is best to choose boiling liquid dung, filter it before the application and keep the concentration at 20% or so. It is extremely prohibited to topdress unfiltered dung dross on fungus bed.
2. Old roots should be removed in accordance with conditions of mushroom house and the growth conditions of mycelia in soil layer. In circumstances of good house condition and robust mycelia growth, cultivators could scratch out fine earth on fungus bed, loosen the coarse soil in a larger area and in case of contrary circumstance, just simply loosen coarse soil.
