As one of technical staffs in Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province of China, Mr. Liu Zhenqin raised the idea of rotatory cultivation between rice and mushroom.
“This kind of cultivation mode not only reduces the pollution caused by straw burning, improves ecological environment, but also helps to realize turning waste into wealth and produce new values. After last autumn harvest, straws were returned to the field, at the end of August, depraved straws became the treasure for Matsutake cultivation, after 35 days of growth period, they were picked before corn harvest,” said Mr. Liu fervidly, adding that Matsutake growing in 1 hectare of land could firmly bring about 30,000 CNY of profits.
