In recent years, Shiitake’s market demand shows fast ascendant trend in China. Since 2011, the growth rate of Shiitake market quantity demand started to rise and the rate reached 13.79% in 2012. But the quantity demand has been reached more than 3.7 million tons in 2013, which thanked to the increasing of people’s income and the improvement of quality of life. Furthermore, many production enterprises also constantly changed the production mode such as deep-processing for Shiitake and expanding the national and overseas markets in order to show Shiitake products to customers who can accept the mushrooms. According to the present quotation of Shiitake, some experts express that the market of Shiitake is really to be expected in 2014.
