Wild mushroom industry gets enhanced by multiple measures

For years, Yimen County, Yunnan Province of China has been vigorously promoting wild mushroom industry, tiny mushrooms have become the prosperous industry that propels farmers to grow affluent.
According to the director of Agricultural Industry Office of Yimen County, while vigorously developing wild mushroom industry, the county also plans to lift the core competitiveness of mushroom industry from 4 aspects.
1. Strive to create the hard-ware and soft-ware environment that fits for the development of mushroom industry, for years, Yimen County of Yunnan Province has been successfully holding China Yunnan Wild Mushroom Transaction Meeting for 13 times, besides, Food Industry Garden that mainly relies on mushroom processing has been built, which attracted batches of leading enterprises that engaged in wild mushroom business.
2. Fight for brand, put effort to level and grade enhancement of wild mushroom processing. Till now, over 50 mushroom product brands have been created in Yimen County.
3. Devote to develop leading mushroom enterprises and mushroom processing enterprises. According to introduction, in 2016, Yimen Congshan Mushroom Co., LTD realized 197 million CNY of comprehensive mushroom production value and now it has become one of leading-type agricultural enterprises which show desirable growth trend in Yimen County.
4. Intensify the development of bionic and artificial mushroom, promote the continuous and healthy development of mushroom industry. At present, artificial mushroom variety in Yimen County mainly includes Shiitake, Oyster mushroom, Pleurotus citrinopileatus and others. By the end of 2017, over 3000 tons of mushroom could be artificially produced and 30 million CNY of incomes could be obtained in Yimen County.
According to statistics, in 2016, output of wild mushroom in Yimen County achieved over 1200 tons, of which over 600 tons were picked and collected by more than 26,000 households, gross revenues totaled 60 million CNY.
