Jiangsu Province of China: Fresh mushrooms enriches citizen’s baskets

September indicates the harvest season of various agricultural products, last week, vegetable transaction was in this year’s peak period and daily transaction volume reached above 8000 tons in Lingjiatang Market of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province of China.
As the weather gets cooler, mushrooms are fiercely coming into markets and they show stable price tendency, Oyster mushrooms are also coming into season with the present favorable price of 8 CNY per kg, with a year-on-year growth of nearly 30%.

Up-to-date mushroom quotations in Chinese markets: 
Enoki mushroom: 5.5 CNY per kg
Oyster mushroom: 8 CNY per kg
Shiitake: 12 CNY per kg
Black fungus: 4 CNY per kg
King oyster mushroom: 7 CNY per kg
Button mushroom 14 CNY per kg
Seafood mushroom 8.7 CNY per kg
Agrocybe cylindracea: 12.3 CNY per kg
Pleurotus geesteranus: 14.9 CNY per kg
