Henan Province of China: Wild Agrocybe cylindracea were found in deep mountain

On 19th of August, Mr. Chen, one of villagers in Xinzhuang Village, Henan Province of China unexpectedly found a large area of Agrocybe cylindracea when he was foraging for Forsythia suspensa in deep mountain.
“I once saw it in small quantity, this time, picking volume comes to over 10 kg,” said Mr. Chen delightedly, adding that this time of foraging is indeed rare and unforgettable.
Agrocybe cylindracea is a kind of edible and medicinal mushroom which holds tender caps, crisp stipes, delicate flavor and abundant nutrition, it is one of ten exploitable rare mushrooms in China. On September, 2008, Agrocybe cylindracea were once taken into space by Shenzhou VII Spaceship.
