1. Proper adding method of nutrient solution: Spraying, soaking and filling are three common methods. Cultivators could spray the solution when sporocarps emerge in large numbers and be sure not to directly spray it on sporocarps. Besides, cultivators should refuse to spray the solution on tiny buds, under excessive relative air humidity, or spray on the place where exists waste mushroom bodies or has just undergone mushroom picking.
Soaking method: This is mainly applied to bag-cultivation. After picking 1-2 flush of mushroom, in case of serious water deficiency state in cultivation bags, cultivators could soak them on prepared nutritive solution till they recover to original weight. In light of soaking, you could put mushroom bags in nutritive solution and cover heavy objects. When bags are in serious water deficiency condition, you could soak them by several times.
Filling method: This is mainly applied to bed-cultivation and show considerable efficiency when mushrooms fruit in large number on mushroom bed, which means excessive consumption on water content and nutrient. Firstly, punch holes on fungus beds in every 10 cm, fill prepared nutrition solution and then earth up.
2. Proper concentration: In case of too-high concentration of nutritive solution, spawns are hard for absorption while the growth of spawns could be hindered or even harmed. Too-low concentration makes no contribution to high yield. Hence, cultivators should determine the concentration of solution in accordance with the water content of substrate. When the water content of substrate is high, you could lift the concentration, reduce water consumption while enhancing the ventilation after the addition. On the contrary, reduce the concentration and strengthen water consumption.
3. Comprehensive nutrients in solution: Cultivators could alternatively apply nutritive solutions, which makes for comprehensive and reasonable nutrition needed for the growth of sporocarps. When you choose to stimulate the growth of mushroom, be sure to do it after supplementing nutritive solution.
4. Pay attention to the change of environment: When the temperature hikes to above 20 degrees, it would be hard for spawns to form superior sporocarps. You could not apply nutritive solutions except for high-temperature type varieties. When finding that substrate has been contaminated by sundry fungi, be sure to add nutritive solution after getting rid of sundry fungi. And in order to eliminate sundry fungus contamination, you could also combine with certain amount of fungistat to the solution so as to prevent their spread.
