Since 2013, Junchuang Cooperative in Fengshou Village, Mudan River, Heilongjiang Province has been researching on artificial cultivation of Arimillaria mellea. According to know, Arimillaria mellea cultivation is divided into two modes, the first one is under-forest cultivation, which refers to utilizing waste tree roots, dead twigs and withered leaves and humus to supplement nutrient. The second is artificial bag-cultivation, it is to make specialized fungus bags, which stands a chance for industrialized production.
In the past, wild Arimillaria mellea are hard to get, its picking season occurs after the middle of September every year. Now, the successful cultivation of artificial mode enables customers to enjoy it in summer, and the first batch is coming into markets.
