Follow 4 skills to lift the output of Oyster mushroom

On the basis of traditional cultivation of Oyster mushroom, soil granules of earthing also facilitates adjusting the moisture of compost, stimulating the formation of mushroom, preventing sundry fungus contamination while supplementing nutrients. In general, the output of fresh mushroom could be hiked to 30%-50%.
1. Soil selection: The soil granules holding the diameter of 1-2 cm are preferred.
2. The time of earthing: It is best to earth up after spawns become fully-grown, as the virtues such as early fruiting, quick pile-turning, high output and easy management are prominent.
3. The depth of earthing: 2-3 cm is preferred.
4. The management after the earthing: The management on water is vital, mushroom cultivators should heavily spray the mixture of clean pond water and 1%-3% of lime, which helps preventing mould while adjusting PH Value. After that, they needn’t to spray water until white and dried phenomenon occurs on soil surface. After mushroom picking, immediately clean away the wastes and sundries on material surface, moderately dry for 1-2 days and then spray water in accordance with the humidity of soil. It is recommendable to add certain amount of sugar and urea in water so as to supplement the consumption of nutrients and realize natural fruiting.
