In some cases, the death phenomenon of tiny mushroom usually happens after the fruiting when you cultivate Oyster mushrooms in bags, the three reasons are included as follows:
A. Too-high temperature. After the formation of primordia, if sustained temperature is above 30 degrees for long time, mushroom cups then gradually wither, which eventually results in the death of mushroom.
B. Too-high or too-low humidity. After the formation of tiny Oyster mushroom buds, in case of the relative humidity of below 80%, tiny mushrooms wither and die for lack of water.
C. Poor ventilation. In case of that condition, malformed mushrooms are unavoidable.
In conclusion, special attention should be paid to temperature and humidity when you cultivate Oyster mushrooms in summer. If you are troubled by too high temperature during the fruiting period, it is a good idea to spray well water on greenhouse, meanwhile, be sure to enhance the ventilation and maintain fresh air in greenhouse.
