Suitable mushroom varieties during high-temperature phase

1. Straw mushroom: Straw mushrooms are resistant to high temperature, the superior growth temperature on spawns is 22-32 degrees and the fruiting temperature is in a range of 24-35 degrees. Wheat bran, straws and corncob stalks could be utilized for Straw mushroom cultivation.
2. Ganoderma: It is a kind of medicinal mushroom which is resistant to high temperature, generally, 22-32 degrees is the superior growth temperature on spawns while 18-35 degrees pertains to the superior one on sporocarps.
3. Drumstick mushroom: The fruiting temperature range is 10-34 degrees.
During high-temperature period, mushroom farmers could choose the superior variety in accordance with local market requirements and cultivation technology, then enhance the management so as to raise mushroom revenues.
