How to control mites on Pleurotus cornucopiae cultivation?

1. Put an end to sources: Mites mainly come from grain warehouse, feed-processing building and chicken coop, hence, mushroom farmers should keep mushroom house away from the mentioned venues.
2. Fumigation: When you find mites in strain, be sure to dip 50% DDVP with tampon and conduct the fumigation.
3. The control measures of mites during spawn-running period: If you have found mites during this period, before the earthing, be sure to conduct the control measures. 1 week after the sowing, put a layer of cloth on surface of materials. After 1-2 minutes, observe any existence of mites, if so, immediately apply 100ml, 0.5% of DDVP to each square meter, then fumigate with 1kg of DDVP for 24 hours in each 100 square meters.
4. The control kernels during fruiting period: When you find mites during the fruiting period of mushroom, you could spray 25%, 2000 times of Dimethoatepyrethroid to fungus bed after mushroom picking. In general, it is proper to spray 700ml in each square meter and mushroom picking could be followed 3 days later.
