1. Season: King oyster mushroom pertains to low-temperature type mushroom and normally gets fruited in spring and autumn.
2. The manufacturing of mushroom bag: The formula and preparation of substrate:
Formula: Broad-leaved tree sawdust 73%, bran 25%, lime 1%, gypsum 1%, water content 60% to 65%.
Bagging, sterilization, inoculation and cultivation: Seal mushroom bags and put them into sterilizing pot. Calculate the time when the temperature reaches to 100 degrees, cover for 4 to 5 hours, then take bags out and cool them down to room temperature, after that, put them into sterilized inoculation room, then into cultivation room and guarantee 20-25 degrees centigrade. After 30 days, move them into fruiting room.
Fruiting management: 
Temperature controlling: The sporocarps of King oyster mushroom are sensitive to temperature, the superior fruiting temperature is in 15-17 degrees centigrade.
Humidity controlling: During the growth period of sporocarps, mushroom farmers should keep the humidity at about 85%, you could spray water on the ground and be sure not to spray on sporocarps or bag mouth.
Light management: Ensure bright light and avoid direct sun.
Ventilation: Open the window for 2 or 3 times in a day and each time should be remained for about half an hour.
3. Picking: Mushroom picking can be done when the diameter of mushroom caps reaches 4 centimeters. After the picking, you could cover the paper in bag mouth and stop spraying water. After 5 days, water should be sprayed again to increase moisture and induce the second growth.
