During the cultivation phase of Straw mushroom, spawns usually become overgrowth while mycoderma usually covers fungus bed, which affects the formation and growth of Straw mushrooms.
Induced factors:
1. Under the condition of high-temperature and high-humidity, the poor ventilation after spraying the “fruiting water”.
2. In low temperature, too high temperature and humidity in mushroom greenhouse, plus with poor ventilation.
3. Too high content of Nitrogen in compost.
Control measures:
1. After you spray the “fruiting water”, be sure to open windows and doors or uncover the film so as to ventilate and moderately lower the temperature of material. When you find that stagnant water and drops of water disappear, then close the windows and doors or cover thin film, control the relative air humidity of mushroom greenhouse in below 95%.
2. The compost should be prepared in moderate humidity, meaning not too wet. The water content should be controlled in within 70%. In low temperature, be sure to moderately ventilate at noon or in the afternoon.
3. When you choose cottonseed hull and waste cotton as raw materials, be sure not to add any auxiliary materials that hold high Nitrogen content.
