The control on diseases and pests of Pleurotus abalonus cultivation

The temperature shows relatively high during the spawn-running and fruiting period of Pleurotus abalonus, however, during the fruiting period, higher relative air humidity is required, under that circumstance, once diseases and pests happen, it will be hard to be controlled, hence it is of crucial importance to prevent their probable occurrence. Firstly, you should choose fresh and mould-free materials when you prepare the compost. What’s more, before the cultivation, clean, fumigate and sterilize on inoculation boxes, tools, spawn-running rooms, cultivation greenhouses and shelves. In general, you could apply 10g sulphur or 10ml of Formalin liquid in each cubic meter of space. Before the fumigation, you could utilize the sprayer to augment the effect of sterilization. Besides, in order to get rid of flies and mosquitoes, you should also apply nylon nets on doors and windows. Once you find any fungus sacks contaminated by sundry fungi and pests, you could remove them out of the room and then destroy in time.
