Grasp key cultivation technology and harvest more Button mushrooms in spring

When the temperature is stable at above 10 degrees, you should moderately transfer water and conduct the fruiting management in spring.
1. Dry climate is evident in spring while temperature is changeable, hence it is improper to adjust the moisture too early or spawns tend to wither under low-temperature and damp environment, which is hard on remediation. In spring cultivation of Button mushroom, you should lightly and frequently spray water, generally, 0.5kg of water could be sprayed in each square meter and the amount of water could be increased with the rise of temperature.
2. It is of crucial importance to master the fruiting time in spring cultivation, freezing injury usually happens when the fruiting is too early while high-temperature influence is unavoidable in too late fruiting. In usual cases, farmers could adjust the fruiting water and stimulate the fruiting in the mid-to-end of March, meaning the temperature is stable at 12 degrees or so.
3. You should also look out heat preservation, in the initial stage of spring cultivation, grasp at low-temperature prevention. When the temperature of mushroom house rises to above 18 degrees, be sure to strengthen the ventilation. On the contrary, when the temperature of mushroom house drops to below 14 degrees, you could open the windows and door in the daytime so as to raise the temperature of mushroom house.
4. You should reasonably enhance the ventilation, during the growth stage of sporocarps, the respiratory action is vigorous, which requires large amount of oxygen, hence mushroom house should be kept in a fresh and ventilated condition. In addition, when the temperature is a little bit higher, you could open the windows in south direction while decreasing the ventilation. When necessary, you could punch on the bottom of compost so as to boost its ventilation. Most importantly, you should strictly prevent any southwester from blowing into mushroom house, or it may cause withered spawns in soil layer and further lose the ability of fruiting.
