How to handle when you observe “white hairs” appear on Oyster mushroom

During the cultivation of Oyster mushroom, spawns probably become vigorous in growth tendency, meaning white and dense appearance, under that circumstance, sporocarps are hard to form and spawns fail to fruit. You could deal with the phenomenon in accordance with the following kernels.
1. Adjust the temperature: For high-temperature type Oyster mushroom, you could control the daytime temperature to 25 degrees or so. For low-temperature type Oyster mushroom, you could control the daytime temperature to 10 degrees or so. Within suitable temperature ranges, you could try to increase the temperature difference so as to stimulate the growth of spawns.
2. Control the humidity: Control the relative air humidity to a range of 85%-95%. Sporocarps lead tardy growth trend under low humidity while they are easy to turn rotten and change colors under high humidity.
3. Enhance the ventilation: Under the condition of oxygen deficit, fruiting would be difficult or misshapen mushrooms heavily emerge, hence you should enhance the ventilation of mushroom house while avoiding direct wind on mushroom bodies.
4. Mechanical press: In each square meter, evenly spray 100 dry soil particles holding the diameter of 1.5cm on spawns to oppress the growth of spawns and promote the formation of sporocarps.
