The control techniques on diseases and pests of Ganoderma

During the cultivation period of Ganoderma, it is advisable to carry out the policy of “Prevention first, supplement control.”
Variety selection criteria: Choose Ganoderma variety that owns strong stress resistance, good quality and high-yield capacity, make sure that strains are free from virus, sundry fungi, annoying acarids and pests.
Sterilization control: Sterilize on compost thoroughly, be sure to continuously keep warm for at least 18 hours when you find that the compost temperature has reached to 100 degrees.
Environmental control: Keep clean of cultivation and the surrounding field, timely get rid of sticks that have been infected by sundry fungi and then conduct field sterilization and insect disinfestation.
Insect prevention and disinfection: utilize flu nets, sunshade nets and other functional nets to seclude cultivation room and Ganoderma greenhouse, prevent pests from invading. Uv and ozone devices could be adopted to sterilize on inoculation tools and cultivation field. Finally, insecticidal lamp could also be utilized to trap and kill pests.
