1. Formula:
A. Sawdust 78%, bran 20%, sucrose 1%, gypsum powder 1%.
B. Cottonseed hull 80%, bran 18%, sucrose 1%, gypsum powder 1%.
2. The preparation method of strain and fungus sack: Mix materials with water in accordance with the proportion of 1 to 1.1 or 1 to 1.2, then bag or bottle and sterilize for 2 hours under the condition of high pressure and high temperature. In 100 degrees, 12-16 hours or even longer hours are needed. After cooling, fumigate and sterilize the inoculation room or box with Chlorine dioxide disinfector for 4-6 hours and the recommended dosage is 0.25-1.0mg per cubic meter. After that, inoculate in the room or box. It should be gotten hold of that each stock strain could inoculate 30 bags of cultivation strains, each bag of cultivation strain inoculates 20-30 cultivation bags. Finally, allow to cultivate in the room of 22-25 degrees.
Before the cultivation, the room or workshop should be fumigated and sterilized by Chlorine dioxide disinfector, with the same mentioned dosage. The cultivation temperature of fungus sack should be controlled in a range of 22-25 degrees. Moreover, be sure to keep in mind that spawns are easy to age under too high temperature, fungus sacks could become matured in about 30-40 days.
When mushroom bag begins to colour from white to yellow brown or even become nodular, then the temperature should be kept in about 20 degrees, the water content should be increased, the relative air humidity should be kept in a range of 80%-85%, the ventilation should be enhanced while certain scattered light should be given so as to facilitate changing colors, stimulating the formation of mushroom buds and creating the initial condition for fruiting.
3. The management during the fruiting period of fungus sacks: During the fruiting period of Shiitakes, the temperature should be kept in a range of 10-15 degrees while the relative air humidity should be kept in a range of 85%-90%, what’s more, stronger scattered light should be given while proper ventilation condition should be created.
