Straw mushroom cultivation - note diseases and pests

1. Mosquito control: Keep clean of mushroom house, cultivation field which should be set away from garbage heaps or rotten materials. In serious infection condition, you could apply insecticide before fruiting or after mushroom picking.
2. Mite control: You could insist on the principal of “Prevention first”. Besides, mushroom house should be away from warehouse, feed plant and livestock house. Before spreading materials, you could fumigate the house for 24 hours by DDVP, Chlorfenethol and other acaricides, when finding any mites that are flat, elliptic, white, yellow and hold many setaes, immediately kill them by adopting following methods:
A. Fumigate to kill mites.
B. Use cotton ball to dip DDVP solution and put on the surface of material, then cover plastic cloth, fumigate and kill.
C. Spray 500 times of Propargite to kill: .
3. The control method of flies: Build drainage ditch around the mushroom field, exclude hydrops and spray 0.5% of DDVP to kill in a regular period. What’s more, you could also set black light lamp to trap and kill them.
