During the cultivation process of Monkey head mushroom, the phenomenons of hypogenetic sporocarps and malformed Monkey head mushrooms always happen because of improper management on moisture, too high temperature, too low temperature and other reasons. It will continuously stimulate the base of sporocarps to form branches and the shape of coral when the concentration of carbon dioxide exceeds 0.1% or under poor ventilation, which affects the commodity values. In the high temperature of above 25 degrees and low relative air humidity, it will easy to cause bald sporocarps which hold no pricking with bacteria. The optimal method is to enhance the ventilation and promote the growth of sporocarps when finding coralline sporocarps. For some tiny buds that have formed the shape of coral, you could cut them along with the layer of compost on the surface of material, normal sporocarps will appear under suitable condition. When finding bald sporocarps, you could enhance moisture management and spray water into the space or on the ground so as to lower the temperature and supplement moisture. What’s more, the characteristics of strain become degenerated as many times of generation on strains, therefore, when you find misshapen Monkey head mushrooms, be sure to conduct purification and rejuvenation to cultivate superior strains and improve the characteristics of strain and purity.
