Brilliant recipe: braised pig trotter with Shiitake and peanut

Ingredients: Shiitakes, pig trotters, peanuts
Condiments: salt, dark soy sauce, Sichuan pepper, chili, ginger, onion, garlic, sesame oil, five spice powder, anise, pepper powder, 
Cooking method:
1. Soak Shiitakes, remove the bottom portion and then rinse.
2. Wash pig trotters, give a quick-boil and then let sit in the pot.
3. drop in ginger slices, onion segments, anise, peanuts and Shiitakes, allow all ingredients to stew for an hour and a half on medium flame.
4. When pig trotters are well stewed, season with salt, dark soy sauce, Sichuan pepper and chili, cease fire the braise for another 5 minutes. Serve.
