The occurrence reason of Mushroom Bud on King oyster mushroom cultivation

Mushroom Bud is one of misshapen mushrooms during the cultivation phase of King oyster mushroom, it is usually resulted from disordered differentiation of sporocarps. The biggest form could reach more than 200g, excessive growth of Mushroom Buds easily lowers the output of King oyster mushroom sticks.

Main reasons: Poor ventilation and too high concentration of Carbon dioxide in mushroom greenhouse.

Control measures: Enhance the ventilation of mushroom greenhouse, control the concentration of Carbon dioxide in a range of 2000mg or so, meanwhile, lift the relative air humidity of greenhouse to a range of 80%-85%. When the environmental temperature exceeds 23 degrees, be sure to lower it down to above 23 degrees, which facilitates preventing King oyster mushroom sticks and primordia from becoming water imbalance.
