During mushroom production, they enjoy desirable spawn running while sometimes they fruit in a slow trend. There are two reasons for this phenomenon:
1. Insufficient water content in compost: The superior water content during the formation of sporocarp is about 70%. When the water content is not enough when sowing, the water content during spawn running will then reach 70%.
2. Poor ventilation or light deficiency: The spawns of Oyster mushroom produce large amounts of carbon dioxide during spawn running. When the ventilation is poor, the concentration of carbon dioxide in mushroom house will be high. Under that circumstance, you should open bag mouth or drill holes on bag, meanwhile, enhance the ventilation. After several days, mushroom buds appea. In actual production, in order to realzie early fruiting, illumination should be enhanced 5 to 7 days before spawns become fully-grown.
