Eight control methods on withered buds of Straw mushroom

1. During the formation period of mushroom buds, be sure to control the temperature in a range of 25-28 degrees, in the early autumn, lower the temperature to under 20 degrees and cover straw matting on the top of greenhouse so as to sustain warm.
2. Partial dark condition is preferred during the growth period of spawns, be sure not to offer hard light stimulation for preventing too early formation of mushroom buds. What’s more, straws should be tightly piled up so as to create a close relationship between spawns.
3. During the growth period of spawns, spray Derris Extract or DDVP in the surrounding area of compost on fungi bed so that people kill diplopod, wood louse and other pests.
4. Strains should be separated in each year or hostile strains should be introduced and kept in preferred temperature.
5. Spray water on the surrounding ridge of material block or irrigate water in ridge internally so as to keep fungi bed moist, what’s more, during the fruiting period, it is optimal to keep relative air humidity in a range 90%-95%. It is forbidden to spray water in the initial formation period of mushroom buds.
6. Before cultivating mushrooms, expose the compost under the blazing sun for 1-2 days, when preparing materials, it is preferred to adjust the PH Value to 8-9.
7. When picking mushrooms, be sure not to give strong actions, or it may hurt tiny mushrooms. After that, clear up fungi bed and get rid of any waste mushroom heads or rotten parts.
