Vegetarian Recipe: Braised Shiitake with Chinese yam

Ingredients: 
250g Chinese yams
200g Shiitakes
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
A tablespoon of veggie oyster sauce
2 tablespoon of peanut oil 
Moderate salt

Cooking method:
1. Rinse Shiitakes, discard the bottom portion, roughly cut into chunks and keep aside.
2. Peel off Chinese yam, cut into segments and then soak in a bowl of saline water.
3. Heat the pot and add moderate oil, then drop in Shiitake chunks and fry till fragrant. 
4. Combine with Chinese yam segments and fry evenly with Shiitake chunks, then season with oyster sauce and veggie oyster sauce.
5. Pour in 200ml of water and boil on moderate heat covering the pot, turn to low flame and braise for 20 hours till cooked through.
6. Allow all ingredients to cook on high fire till evaporated. Serve and enjoy.
