The cultivation season and compost formula on King oyster mushroom

1. Cultivation season: King oyster mushroom falls under Low Temperature Type, it only takes 50-60 days from sowing to fruiting, for Yangtze River basin region, you could make fungi sacks from October to November, the fruiting period will then follow from November to the next January, for other regions, you could moderately bring forward or postpone.
2. Compost formulas:
A. 88% cottonseed hull, 10% mixed corn powder, 10% lime, 1% calcium carbonate
B. 75% miscellaneous sawdust, 22% bran, 1% sugar, 1% lime, 1% calcium carbonate
C. 50% cottonseed hull, 30% miscellaneous sawdust, 18% mixed corn powder, 1% lime, 1% gypsum
For all the formulas, the water content should be adjusted to a range of 60%-65%.
