White Rot Disease should be controlled in autumn cultivation of mushroom

White Rot Disease is one of the most common diseases with the most serious harm and particularly happens in autumn cultivation. Infected mushrooms initially present brown struma on the surface of cap and stipe and gradually increases, in serious condition, a layer of white mould forms on the infection part. For this kind of disease, people could adopt the following methods to control without worries:
1. Timely clean up: when people find infected mushrooms, get rid of them and dig out the partial compost approximately in the depth of 10cm, then burn up and deeply bury. Fill the hole up and make even with sterilized soil, meanwhile, disinfect all tools with 4% of Formalin to prevent the infection.
2. Lower the temperature and humidity: under the condition of stay warm of mushroom house, open the windows, lower the humidity and temperature, control the relative air humidity in under 95% and the temperature in under 17 degrees.
3. Chemical control: while mushrooms are still about to grow, spray Bordeaux mixture with the proportion of 1 to 2 to 225 on the surface of cover soil, which could dramatically reduce infection rate and guarantee it a protective role. It is also feasible to prepare a solution with 10g Carbendazim and 75kg of water, then spray on the surface of fungi bed in each 10 square meter.
If all mentioned measures are invalid and the disease continues to develop, people could replace all the cover soil with aseptic soil and renewedly cover.
