1. Soak in clean water: water could isolate air and make slow color-changing, but it’s improper to soak in iron utensil.
2. Sodium metabisulfite: use 0.01% water solution of Sodium metabisulfite to rinse mushrooms for 3-5 minutes, then soak them in 0.1% water solution of Sodium metabisulfite, then ladle out, drain off excess water and put into plastic bags for storage. The preservation effect is good in the room temperature of 10 to 15 degrees. But when the storage temperature exceeds 30 degrees, preservation could be made for one day.
3. Kinetin: use 0.01% of 6-amino purine liquid to soak fresh mushrooms for 10 to 45 minutes, then take out and storage, this method could delay senescence and keep freshness.
4. Succinic acid-2, 2-2 Methyl hydrazine: use 0.001% -0.1% water solution of Succinic acid-2, 2-2 Methyl Hydrazine to soak mushrooms for 10 minutes, then ladle out, drain off moisture water and store in plastic bags. This method can preserve for 8 days in room temperature of 5-22 degrees.
