Cobs own abundant and comprehensive nutrition. It is analyzed that crude protein content of cob is 1.1 %, crude fat is 0.6%, cruder fiber is 31.8%, soluble carbohydrates reach up to 51.8%, calcium reaches 0.4%, Phosphorus reaches 0.25% and they especially possess higher sugar content, hence can be taken as the ideal and superior raw material on cultivating mushrooms. The brief introduction on cultivating technology of Oyster mushroom by cob is included as follows.
