Before cultivating Straw mushroom, people could firstly clean up the greenhouse, repair greenhouse film, disinfect the ground and walls and cover the roof with wheat bran. Besides, people could also make ridges which are 80cm in width and 10cm in height, a drainage ditch with the width of 60 should be digged between two ridges.
When preparing materials, people could soak wheat bran, wheat straw and wastes of Oyster mushroom in 5% of lime water, and then spray 500 times of Phoxim to disinfect and kill pests. After that, scatter 30% of wheat straw on the ground, press tightly and press 3 layers in accordance with the same procedure. Then, cover the soil which is 1 to 1.5cm in depth, create the shape of turtleback and cover mulching film immediately. Lastly, drill 3 lines of hole om film.
During the normal growth period of Straw mushroom, temperature should be controlled in about 30%. When finding that the temperature of greenhouse has exceeded 45 degrees, people could timely uncover film to ventilate and dissipate heat. In general, 70% is the optimal humidity on the surface of material. When finding that the humidity of mushroom house is too low, people could spray 1% of urea solution or spray water inside of ridges. During the growth period of spawns, people could try to avoid direct sunlight on the surface of material, in other words, weak light intensity is the optimal choice, but strong light is obviously needed during fruiting period. In addition, when people find that the PH Value of compost is under7, they could spray 1% of clarification limewater inside of the material to adjust PH Value again.
It is universally acknowledged that picking is of great importance during the whole cultivation procedure. In general, 11 or 12 days after inoculating, picking can be arranged when finding pint-sized mushrooms.
