Mushroom farmers should pay the following attentions when selecting strains of Straw mushroom：

1. Normal strain should be transparent, silver gray, uniformly distributed and relatively sparse.

2. It should be eliminated if strains are too thick or too white.

3. It should be eliminated if strains are gradually vanishing in flask or appear plaques.

4. It cannot be used if strains have become withered in flake or have the foul odor.
