The management on spawns of Straw mushroom during the fruiting period

1. Temperature regulation: the optimal growth temperature of spawns on Straw mushroom is from 32 to 34 degrees, the optimal relative air humidity is 80% to 85%, when the temperature of material exceeds 35 degrees, people could uncover film to ventilate and lower temperature, people could also punch holes in compost with tapered rod. When the water content is a bit low, people should spray moderate water to adjust the humidity. If the water content is a bit high, people should uncover film and eliminate moisture.
2. Check the situation of planting in spawns: in normal conditions, the temperature of material rises and spawns bud two days after sowing, after 3 days, spawns spread in all directions. After about 5 days, spawns will become fully-grown on the surface of material and spread into deeper layer of material. If spawns don’t bud 3 days after sowing and the temperature of material is normal, it can be concluded that strains are aged and people should timely supplement strain.
3. Increase ventilation: before planting spawns, people should ventilate in every morning and night, each time remains about 20 to 30 minutes. After planting, people could increase ventilation and extend the time of ventilation.
4. Adjust water content: when finding that spawns are fully-grown and some tiny mushrooms appear, people could spray water for one time, the water temperature should be in accordance with the temperature of material. It needs about 7 to 10 days from sowing to the formation of primordium.
5. Uncover thin film to increase ventilation: when finding that primordium is formed, people should immediately raise and hold up thin film. 
6. Spray water frequently to keep moist air: during the growth period of sporocarps, people could keep relative air humidity between 90% to 95%. Frequent water spraying on space and ground should be given, less water spraying on surface of material should be controlled and it is best to keep moist surface of material. During the growth period of young mushroom, it is improper to spray water directly on mushroom bodies, or it will cause rotten tiny mushrooms. People should also spray less water in cloudy day, give ventilation in every morning, noon and night. People could stop spraying water in rainy day and moderately ventilate in windy day.
