Control method on disease and pest of mushroom

1. Disease Spot Type: Speckle Disease is the main type, white hairy spawns and brown spots will appear on the surface. Affected by them, top caps will arise the phenomenon of atrophy, individual cap will be cracked, some stipes and caps will appear rusty spots.
Main reason: excessive humidity in greenhouse or poor ventilation .
2. Deformity is mainly manifested in thin and long stipes, root system is developed and robust. External form seems like coral in the sea.
Main reason: mushroom greenhouse is lack of oxygen or in poor ventilation.
3. Spindling Type: the surface layer of mycelium grows many clumps aerial hyphae, which result in the status of spindling.
Main reason: excessive humidity in greenhouse, which affects the normal growth of mushroom.
For the above several types, mushroom farmers should adopt the following measures to prevent the occurrence of mushroom disease. Firstly, people should avoid excessive water-spraying in cultivation, humidity should be moderately controlled, ventilation should be increased in the condition of excessive humidity. What’s more, farmers should also pay attention to the purification, renovation of strains and sterilization.
In addition, for some Oyster mushrooms that are infected by acarid (red mite), the main appearance is in strains and sporocasprs of Oyster mushroom. Individual cap, lamella can also get infected, which can cause many yellow concave spots on the surface of Oyster mushroom, affect the quality and appearance of Oyster mushroom. What’s more, in the production process of Oyster mushroom, maggots are common to see in all parts of Oyster mushroom.
Control method: No matter in red mite or maggot, farmers could utilize 1.8%, 400 to 600 times of Isocarbophos-fenpropathrin 25 EC to spray.
