The high-yield cultivation technology of Pleurotus tuber-regium

1. Cultivation season: Pleurotus tuber-regium can get fruited in 25 to 35 degrees, inoculation should be arranged in February to April, fruiting is in May and September.
2. The preparation of cultivation bag:
A. The formula of compost: dried broad-leaved tree sawdust 38%, cottonseed hull 35%, bran 22%, light calcium carbonate 1%, corn powder 3%, sugar 1%.
B. Cooking method: firstly humidify cottonseed hull by clean water, then mix well with broad-leaved tree sawdust, bran, corn powder, light calcium carbonate and pre-wetted cottonseed hull. Add sugar, dissolve to water and supplement the water content of compost, then control the water content in 65%, adjust PH Value in 7.5 to 8.0. Polypropylene bag of 17 cm*33 cm*0.005 cm needs to be used and the wet weight of each bag is 1000g (about 350g in dried material), put lantern ring in plastic bags and put into ordinary pressure oven to sterilize. Remain for 15 hours when the temperature of oven reaches to 100 degrees, then put cooled fungi bag into inoculation box, sterilized in aerosol disinfectant, after that, people can inoculate in accordance with aseptic technique and each can inoculate for 490 to 50 bags.
3. The cultivation of spawn: inoculated bag should be  straight in shelves of cultivation room for lucifugal cultivation. The cultivation temperature is 25 to 28 degrees, relative air humidity in cultivation room should be from 70% to 75%. In cultivation stage of spawn, people can close window and door in early stage and avoid too much volatility of indoor temperature. In late period, people should increase ventilation and keep fresh air. During the cultivation, people should get rid of polluted bag, dead bag and normal bag in time. In general, spawns can become fully-grown in 40 or 50 days.
4. When spawns become fully-grown, wait for 10 days and keep the temperature in about 20 degrees, then people can realize fruiting and remove lantern rings individually, unfasten the mouth of bag and earth up in compost, the depth is from 3 to 4 cm, vegetable fields soil and fire soil can be chosen and the diameter of soil particles is from 1.5 to 2.0 cm. Before using, people can firstly place it in sun and dry till becomes white, then adjust the humidity of soil particles by water. Then people should fold bags from top to bottom and make the edge of bag mouth remain 2 or 3 cm higher than ground, array them in vertically soil surface or indoor fruiting shelves.
5. Fruiting management: after earthing, people should pay attention to the moist, close the door frequently and cover more films to activate primordium to realize differentiation early. In general, after 7 to 10 days, the top of primordium can come out of the soil. After that, people should control the air humidity in 80% to 95%, increase ventilation and keep fresh air, at the same time, people should leave certain scattered light of the field.  The temperature of the whole fruiting process should be controlled in 25 to 35 degrees. The amount of water-spraying should be mastered in accordance with the size of mushroom, the humidity of earthing and the climate. People should spray more water in plenty of mushrooms and spray less water in limited mushroom, spraying more water in sunny day and spray less in cloudy day, people should also control the volume of ventilation in accordance with different growth stage of mushroom.
Picking: people can pick when sporocarps are in eight and nine matured, present funnel-shape and involute edge. When picking each sporocarp, people should pinch mushroom stipes that are residual in soil, rotate and remove lightly.
